CHANGING SYSTEMS.
STRENGTHENING ORGANISATIONS.
DELIVERING IMPACT.
A Word From Our Founders
Adversity, trauma and resilience are no longer niche conversations. They sit at the heart of every challenge our businesses, services and systems are trying to solve from workforce wellbeing, retention and productivity to customer experience, health inequalities, school exclusion, violence, and the long shadow of the pandemic.

We launched We Are ATR because the organisations doing the hardest work, in business and industry, health, care, justice, education and community, deserve a partner that combines real evidence with real humanity, and commercial credibility with values that hold.

For more than five years we have led the West Yorkshire Adversity, Trauma and Resilience movement, a nationally recognised programme that has reshaped how organisations think about adversity and trauma. We have trained more than 3,000 professionals across the public, private and voluntary sectors, convened over 700 partners, co-produced a suite of internationally referenced tools, and walked alongside chief executives, commissioners, HR and people directors, frontline staff and people with lived experience as they transformed their practice.

That work does not end. It evolves. We Are ATR is its next chapter, a limited company built to carry this expertise, community and evidence base into a form that can serve any organisation, in any sector. We remain rooted in the values that built the movement: equity, compassion, co-production, and lived experience at the centre. What changes is our ability to scale, to respond, and to partner with organisations who share our ambition.

This prospectus is an invitation to a long-term, strategic partnership. Whether you are a chief executive protecting your workforce, a CSR or sustainability lead building credible social impact into your reporting, a people director investing in retention and culture, a brand or sponsorship lead seeking authentic community partnerships, an SME owner shaping the kind of business you want to be, a commissioner designing the next generation of services, or a voluntary organisation scaling your impact. we would welcome a conversation.
